From 1997 to 2005 Dr. Flanagan was a founder and chief executive of Draximage Inc., a member of the Draxis Health group of companies (NASDAQ:DRAX, TSX:DAX). Draximage is Canada's leading radiopharmaceutical company and was previously a subsidiary of Merck Frosst. At Merck Frosst Radiopharmaceuticals he was the Director of R&D from 1990 to 1997 and a Senior Research Scientist from 1980 to 1987. Charlie Mayer brings to VTC an outstanding and distinguished political background with the Canadian Government as a Member of Parliament with portfolio appointments, which include Minister of Western Economic Diversification; Minister of State - Grains & Oilseeds; Minister of State - Canadian Wheat Board; and Minister of Agriculture. Mr. Mayer was inducted into the prestigious Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame in November 2005. Mr. Mayer is currently active as Chairman of Agronix Inc.; a Director of CARE Canada; and a former Director of Canada Bread Company Limited.

Thompson MacDonald has an extensive background in strategic communications and Corporate Governance providing strategies for private and public companies, media and government relations. Mr. MacDonald currently serves on several boards, including Chairman of Enmax, an Alberta based electricity utility; and Chairman of Walton International, an Alberta land assembly and development company. In 1993 Mr. MacDonald was appointed by the Prime Minister of Canada to the Board of Directors of Canadian Broadcasting Corporation; and was also Chairman, CBC Pension Trustees Board until 1999.

Kim McConnell is a founder and former CEO of AdFarm, a major marketing/ advertising/communications firm with clients throughout North America. In addition to numerous creative and marketing awards, AdFarm has been recognized for the past 3 years as one of "Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies" and by Canadian Business magazine in 2006 & 2007 as one of the Best Places to Work in Canada. Mr. McConnell is also the recipient of several national business awards including finalist for the 2006 and 2007 Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" (Prairie Region); and the 2005 KPMG "Quantum Shift Award". Kim provides volunteer leadership with many organizations including the Calgary Stampede, Salvation Army, and National Agri-Marketing Association. He is a director of several private companies, and the President of the Canadian Agriculture Hall of Fame.

Robert J. Iverach was a Founding Partner of Felesky Flynn LLP, a Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta law firm, the practice of which is restricted to matters of taxation law. He retired from Felesky Flynn LLP in 2005. Mr. Iverach received a Masters of Law from the London School of Economics and the honorary distinction of Queen's Counsel in 1990. Mr. Iverach is currently a Director of Fort Chicago Energy Partner LP (TSX), and Trustee of Big Eagle Services Trust (private). He is the Chairman and Director of Ramtelecom Inc. (TSX-V) and an Officer in Basin Energy Inc. (Private). He is also an examiner for the Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors Education Program. He was the Founding Editor of the Canadian Petroleum Tax Journal and a past President and Director of the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society.

Gregory Melchin was elected to serve three terms as MLA for Calgary North West from March 1997 to March 2008. He was appointed to Cabinet and served as Minister of Revenue from March 2001 - November 2004, as Minister of Energy from November 2004 - December 2006 and as Minister of Seniors and Community Supports from December 2006 - March 2008. Bernard Boyer is the Director of VTC’s European subsidiary, Vacci-Test Europe ("VTE"). Mr. Boyer has 25 years in the pharmaceutical biotech industry and holds a PhD in Pharmacy, a degree in Industrial Pharmacy and a Masters Degree in International Business and Marketing. Mr. Boyer's experience includes building multinational distribution networks for what is now called Sanofi Pasteur. Bernard is a co-founder and associate director of Parteurop Development, which structures partnerships between biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Bessette is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal and has been in veterinary practice for more than 30 years. A visionary, Dr. Bessette is President of Les Consultants Vetco Inc., a company specializing in the development, implementation and commercialization of customized veterinary medicine products. He is also an active member of several professional associations including the A.M.V.P.Q. (Association des Médecins Vétérinaires Practiciens du Québec), the American Association of Bovine Practitioners & American Association of Swine Practitioners.
